Anamaria Marinca bio
Anamaria Marina is an Romanian actress. Her first screen appearance was in Sex Traffic, a Channel 4 film for which she was awarded the British Academy Television Award as Best Actress. She is fluent in French, German English, and Romanian. Her father is a theatre instructor at one of Romania's top acting schools. She won the Best Female Actor Award for the Year 2000 in the Gala for Young Actors in Mangalia. She was selected as a European Shooting Star by the European Film Promotion Board in the year 2008. She taught four years at University of Fine Arts Music and Drama George Enescu Iasi. bAnamaria Marineca is an Romanian film actress who was born on the 1st of April 1978 at Iasi Romania. Anamaria Marinca, an actress who is of Romanian heritage was the first actress to screen in the Canadian-British television drama Sex Traffic. She won the British Academy Television Award Best actress for the role. Apart from her stellar performance in her debut movie she will also remain in the memory of her role on her role in the Romanian film "4 months 3 weeks and 2 days" which won her numerous awards including an award from the European Film Award of Best Actress from the London Film Critics. The actress was in Cristian Mugiu's Romanian film "4 3 weeks, 4 months and 2 zile" (4 months, three weeks And Two Days) which earned her the Palme d'Or award at Cannes Film Festival 2007. The film also earned two other awards, the Cinema Prize of French National Education System (FIPRESCI Prize) and the Cinema Prize. Youth Without Youth by Francis Ford Coppola was a different film where she starred. In 2008, she played Yasim Anwar in BBC mini-series The Last Enemy. Marinca is a regular on Oliver Hirschbiegel's Five Minutes of Heaven and the Romanian drama Boogie. In the following year, she was a major role in 2014's Fury where she played Irma who was the German Aunt of Emma.
